Recently, the 2018 annual summary meeting of the national key research and development plan "metallurgical crane health monitoring and diagnostic technology and equipment research and development (2017YFC0805103)" was held in Hangzhou. More than 20 key personnel from Maanshan Huayang Equipment Diagnostic Engineering Co., Ltd., Anhui University of Technology, Southeast University, Nanjing Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute and Liaoning Academy of Safety Sciences attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by researcher Ding Keqin from the Department of Health Monitoring, Diagnosis and Management Division of the CSEI.

At the meeting, each group reported on the research progress and financial implementation of each task around the medium-term assessment indicators, focusing on the construction of the experimental platform for the fatigue performance curve of structural materials in high-temperature radiation environment; the reliability of prediction on metallurgical crane maintenance based on historical monitoring data; metallurgical crane life cycle safety and health management visualization system in Ma Steel"s demonstration application and other core issues. Participants discussed the technical difficulties and existing problems of the subject extensively and proposed solutions.

The meeting laid a good foundation for the successful completion of the mid-term assessment at the end of the year, laying the foundation for the smooth organization and implementation of the project in 2019.
