On 10th Aug, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China ended the publicity of the project "Public Security Risk Prevention and Control and Emergency Technical Equipment" of the National Key R&D Program in 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Public Security Project). CSEI has been approved for two special projects.

The two approved projects are "Research on Key Technologies of Functional Safety Guarantee for Special Equipment Safety Protection System" charged by the Department of Dangerous Chemicals and Equipment and "Research on Preventive Technology for Special Equipment Accident Prediction Based on Large Data" charged by the Science and Technology Management Department. In addition, CSEI as a collaboration unit undertakes 2 topics on special projects.

The implementation of the above public safety projects will enhance the scientific research and innovation ability of CSEI in the field of functional safety assurance and large data of special equipment, and accelerate the development of CSEI scientific research team and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
