On May 13, Paul Lang, audit inspection director of conformity assessment department of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Gary Scribner, technical service manager of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI), accompanied by the relevant personnel of ASME China Office visited CSEI. Shen Gongtian, vice president of CSEI, and the responsible persons of ASME Inspection Division of CSEI met and held talks with the visitors.
As an ASME authorized inspection agency, the ASME Inspection Division of CSEI firstly introduced the recent working progress in the meeting, and two sides exchanged views on the upcoming ASME license holders and authorized inspection agencies conference in Shanghai. Besides, in order to develop further friendly cooperation, the two sides made positive discussion on the nondestructive testing personnel training.
