The 7th Workshop of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section II (BPV II) China International Working Group (CIWG) hosted by CSEI opened in Jiangyin, Jiangsu province from April 2 to 3, 2015. The Vice President and Chief Engineer of CSEI, Shou Binan hosted this meeting and 43 delegates from 32 organizations/units attended.
The participating experts made a report for recent test research progress on 700℃ new material for boilers and discussed the specific working progress to adopt China’s boiler and pressure vessel material (including steel plate, steel tube and steel forging) into ASME boiler and pressure vessel code. Every member organization/unit of CIWG reported the recent work development, coordinating and determining next work arrangement.
