The Signing Ceremony of Co-building Elevator Type Test Center by CSEI and Special Equipment Safety Supervision Inspection Institute of Jiangsu Province was held in Suzhou city on March 28, 2015. Director General of SESA of AQSIQ, Song Jihong, President of CSEI, Lin Shuqing, leaders of Quality Supervision Departments of Suzhou City and Jiangsu Province, local government heads and more than 20 elevator enterprises representatives participated this ceremony.
The co-building of Elevator Type Test Center is a successful attempt of quality supervision serving for social and economic development. Relying on advantages of human resources, qualification, brands and researches for both sides, the new elevator type test center will promote the construction and development of elevator manufacture base in Suzhou and serve for social and economic development.
China has more than 3.5 million in-use elevators now and has the largest elevator market all over the world. Jiangsu is the most concentrated province of elevator manufacturers with a yield of over 50 percent of China.
