The Vice Minister of AQSIQ, Chen Gang, accompanied by staffs of Bureau of Special Equipment Safety Supervision, Department of Technology, Department of Planning and Finance, visited CSEI on February 13th. Chen Gang acquired detailed information about current construction of National Special Equipment Safety and Energy Technology Research and Test Base, watched the internal inspection technology demonstration of pressure pipeline and some key testing equipment, meanwhile, Chen Gang listened to the report of the latest research results and development of pressure pipe’s internal inspection technology by CSEI.

Chen Gang applauded CSEI’s achievements in recent years and encouraged CSEI to grasp new opportunities and response to new challenges. Firstly, serve for the new normal economic development, promote the development of special equipment industry in quality efficiency and upgrading. Secondly, well carry out the research project of the Thirteenth-Five Year Plan and strengthen the construction of National Special Equipment Safety and Energy Technology Research and Test Base in order to drive the industry overall level of science and technology. Thirdly, make efforts to promote the reform of inspection agencies and the research in related policy, accelerate the progress of incorporating China Special Equipment Inspection Group. Finally, play the leading role in this industry by strengthening top-level design and research on strategy program.
