The fifth working meeting of ASEM BPV II China International Working Group (CIWG BPV II) was held in Nanjing on April 17. The meeting was hosted by CSEI and undertook by Nanjing Iron & Steel Group Corporation. The Vice President of CSEI and Chief Engineer, Mr. Shou Binan chaired the meeting, the General Manager of Nanjing Iron & Steel Group Corporation, Mr. Huang Yixin, the President of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Mr. Chen Xuedong, the chief representative of ASME China office, Mr. Zhang Qiang and more than thirty representatives from China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels, Shanghai Power Equipment Research Institute, Baosteel Group Corporation (Baosteel), Wuhan Iron & Steel (Group) Corporation (WISCO), Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Corporation (TISCO), Sinopec, CNPC and Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) attended this meeting.

Thirteen topics including eleven continuous and two additional topics were discussed in the meeting and new corresponding treatment suggestion was formed. The topic contents included bringing the mature material listed in the Chinese standards into ASME standards and selecting the mature material in ASME standards to the relevant Chinese standards.
