July 14 to 21, 5 representatives dispatched by CSEI attended ASME Pressure Vessels and Pipelines Conference 2019 (ASME PVP 2019) in San Antonio, USA.

At the meeting, Dr. Deng Guide presided over the "Integrity Management" China branch association of Standards and Specifications, International Branch of seminar for usage evaluation & standard specification integrity design and analysis and organized 6 academic papers presentation and discussion. Dr. Li Xiang, as co-chairman, co-presided over the International Branch of standards and specifications for the theme of “Standard for high density polyethylene and non-metallic pipes", and organized 3 academic papers presentation and discussion. CSEI representatives read out 10 academic papers in total and respectively introduced the research achievements of CSEI in the standard technology of ultra-high pressure vessels in China, the design method of double-deck tubesheet engineering, the risk assessment method of small ammonia refrigeration equipment and the system development, and exchanged these research results with representatives from domestic and abroad.

ASME PVP Conference is held annually, which is the top level international conference in the field of pressure vessel and pipeline. All the papers read at the conference will be included in EI. Parts of outstanding papers also can be transferred to ASME Pressure Vessel Technology Magazine (SCI). The conference attracted 895 representatives from 37 countries, including the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, with more than 180 branches and 670 academic reports.
